Yum. Got the chicken korma + garlic naan + a mango lassi. Good portion size- my leftovers were lunch the next day. Out back you can eat watching people boat around in the bay.

I ordered takeout from this place and it was a great experience. I got the veg curry with mild spice—perfectly gentle and flavorful, ideal for elders or anyone who prefers a mellow heat. The portion size was generous, and the price felt fair for the quality.
The meal started with a complimentary Indian tea, which was a lovely surprise and genuinely delicious. Staff were friendly and quick with the order, which made the whole experience smooth.
Even though I took the food to go, I spent a few minutes outside—the ambiance is peaceful and perfect for catching the sunset. Just watch out for the seagulls if you’re eating outdoors!

We had dinner here yesterday and it was an amazing experience. Don’t get fooled by the gas station storefront, this place is a hidden gem. Once you try the food, you’ll understand why!
The dishes are very authentic, full of flavor, and perfectly spiced. Everything tasted fresh and truly homestyle. You can tell they really focus on keeping the flavors genuine and traditional.
We also had the option to dine in with a beautiful river/sea view, which made the experience even better. Great food, great atmosphere, and extremely hospitable service. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic flavors in Galveston!

I stopped in based on the great reviews and the food definitely didn’t disappoint! I also was able to get me a fancy Tropical Sprite, a Big Pineapple & 3 scratch offs. Lol Everything was delicious and I’ll absolutely be returning. The staff were wonderful, the seating was comfortable, and the waterview seating out back is a fantastic touch.

Delicious food!!!! Have heard so many people rave and finally got over there. We were missing out! We got the Gobi 65, a couple naan, veg korma, matar paneer, and paneer kadai. All were delicious! Already went back for takeout the same week. Delicious food, kind service, and a great view of the bay! We will definitely frequent this spot!

My wife and I stumbled upon Curry & Grill Galveston and so glad we did! Some of the best Indian food we've ever had. We had the butter chicken and the vegetarian korma, along with the Gobi 65 appetizer. It was all delicious...the spice/flavor/texture was perfect. having the butter chicken and korma long with their well-prepared Naan and rice was a great combo. For us, this is class Houston / Galveston area dining...the place is in a gas station! Most gas stations around Houston have Mexican food or a Subway, but we wish they all had Curry & Grill in them! Note that even though it's a gas station there was nice seating (three tables for 4) inside as well as a very cool dock in the back with a few tables directly on the water. We ate inside only because it was a very windy night...but look forward to going back there and eating on the dock in nicer weather. We go to Galveston a few times a year and we for sure eating here again. Highly recommend! Attached photo of view from outdoor seating area, and also one pick of my plate.
